Honey to Stimulate Sexuality

The term "honeymoon" dates back to a practice of Celtic tribes where new brides would drink honey-beer for a month following their nuptuals. Honey, like the hops in beer, contain trace hormones which could account for this increased sexual response. While I don’t advocate drinking binges, a teaspoon of honey a day can’t hurt, or if so inclined check out the recipe for Honey Beer.

Chocolate Makes Endorphins

Chocolate as both scent and edible food, stimulates endorphin production in the body, which make you feel good. It's why so many choco-holics exist and why giving your sweetheart a box of chocolates can work in your favor. However, for a personal touch try dipping pretzels, hard candies, fruits and nuts in chocolate – perhaps even engaging in a chocolate fondue with your lover the next time you seek a romantic evening. The skewers piercing the flesh of these fun foodstuffs, dipping, then twirling and languishing in the chocolate are sure to enhance your sensual mindspring no matter how many of them actually make it to your mouths.

Use Candles for Mood & Atmosphere

In using candles for mood you should think of colour, scent and safety. Place candles on safe burning surfaces such as special glass, ceramic and wood holders. Make sure nothing draped, loose or flammable is nearby and play with a single scent in multiple levels. Lilac or rose scents can be stepped in a series of votive heights or long sensual tapers either placed at strategic lighting spots near mirrors or in a single arrangement. Remember that you are going for soft lighting and don't overpower your mate with multiple smells. One candle can be just as powerful, and even more so than ten if placed on a dresser in front of a mirror to cast a soft illumination on the contours of naked flesh.

Halvah Increases Sexual Stamina

halvah is a Middle Eastern sweet treat dating back to the days of Cleaopatra and Anthony. You can easily make halvah by grinding 1 cup of sesame seeds and adding raw honey until the mix turns to a dough consistency. Then simply break off a section and feast.
Both honey and sesame seeds contain stamina-increasing substances such as bee pollen, magnesium and calcium which stimulate the adrenal glands and make the sex hormones.

Honey Beer Recipe for Romance

Honey and hops both contain trace hormones reported to enhance sexual response dating back to ancient Celtic practices. A quick, tasty, honey beer can be made by putting 1 ounce of hops in a glass container and covering with boiling water. Allow the mixture to stand for 20 minutes and then strain. Next add 1 teaspoon of raw honey to 4 ounces of the hops mixture.

Love Equals Mustard

Mustard can literally add spice to any meal. Steamed artichokes with melted butter and Dijon have an undeniable aphrodisiac quality – just try sucking the mustard off the leaves in front of your loved one and see where that sensual act gets you! If your partner in romance is more geared to beer and pretzels, dip rods (not minis) into your favorite spicy brown mustard and slowly lick off the mustard with your tongue. Add some French music in the background, dim the lights, pour a glass of fine French wine and let the imagination soar to travels beyond your everyday living.

Fresh Flowers Spell Romance

Whether it's a single long stemmed rose or a series of
crushed orchid petals or something a bit more humble like carnations, fresh flowers can do wonders to peak romance. Slip a single rose on your loved one's pillow, crush petals and strew them across the bed, covering lightly with a sheet for a sensuous surprise, or sprinkle them in a warm bath for your loved one. Even a candle adorned with fresh petals or a vase on a home office desk can cause your loved one to get in the mood for love -- because they know you are too!
