When my lymph nodes suddenly become enlarged overnight, it sends chills down my spine. As I mentioned in my previous post, I had a swollen lymph node on my jaw line from my sinus infection. It was puffy and sore, and it drove me crazy knowing it was there. As much as I wanted to keep touching it and trying to determine if it had gone down, I knew that would only agitate it.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that when you’re lymph nodes swell up, don’t jump to a scary conclusion such as thinking you have cancer. Instead evaluate it…when did you notice it? Do you have a cold that probably caused it? However, if you have no clue as to why it swelled up and still notice that it's the same size several days later, it’s best to seek a professional’s advice.
